The University Library supplies scientific information concerning the disciplines at the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Technological Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Institute for Graduate Studies & Research.
The University Library offers an excellent contribution to scientific information supply, focused on sustainable development of the AdeKUS.
The University Library provides innovative information services, partnered with students, lecturers and researchers of the AdeKUS for the advancement of university education and research in Suriname.

Scientific information service for the faculties of Social Sciences, Technological Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Law and the Institute for Graduate Studies & Research are brought together in the Central Library, and information service for the Medical Sciences faculty is to be found at the department Medical Information Services.
As from 1968 the collection of the University Library has been stored in several buildings. With the building of a Central Library on University campus in 1983, the collections of social and technical sciences were centralized.
The Medical Library has been based in the Medical Scientific Institute building since 1972.
